Kip McGrath Romford is looking for enthusiastic, professional and fully qualified Secondary
Teachers to join our growing team.
We are recruiting teachers in Mathematics, English and Science (Biology, Chemistry and Physics).
This is an excellent opportunity for teachers who enjoy helping students achieve their potential without the workload associated with mainstream classroom teaching.
Essential Requirements
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or recognised teaching qualification (PGCE or equivalent).
- Recent experience teaching secondary students in your specialist subject.
- Excellent subject knowledge of the National Curriculum and GCSE specifications.
- Strong communication and organisational skills.
- Enhanced DBS certificate (or willingness to obtain one).
- Experience supporting students with SEND is advantageous.
The Role
- Deliver engaging KS3 and GCSE tuition.
- Adapt teaching to individual learning needs.
- Monitor progress and maintain lesson records.
- Work closely with Centre Directors and colleagues.
- Build students' confidence alongside academic progress.
Our centre has recently received national recognition for outstanding performance and continues to grow year on year.
Working Hours
Monday to Friday (late afternoons and evenings) and Saturday mornings/early afternoons.
Applicants should be available for at least two regular sessions each week.

This is an in-person role based at our Romford Education Centre. This is not an online tutoring position.
