Due to continued growth, we are looking for an experienced and motivated Parts Advisor to join our successful team at our Selby Vauxhall & Peugeot dealership.
The Role
As a Parts Advisor, you will be responsible for supplying vehicle parts and accessories to our workshop technicians, retail customers and trade accounts. You will play a key role in the efficient operation of the Parts Department, ensuring parts are identified, sourced and supplied accurately while delivering excellent customer service.
The successful candidate will have previous automotive parts experience and be confident using dealer management systems such as Kerridge/CDK Drive.
Key Responsibilities
- Identifying and supplying the correct parts for customer and workshop requirements.
- Serving retail and trade customers both face-to-face and over the phone.
- Managing parts enquiries and preparing quotations.
- Supporting the Service Department by ensuring technicians receive required parts promptly.
- Processing goods received and maintaining accurate stock records.
- Assisting with stock control, stock takes and inventory management.
- Promoting genuine manufacturer parts and accessories.
- Maintaining high standards of housekeeping and health & safety within the department.
- Building and maintaining strong relationships with trade and retail customers.
What We're Looking ForEssential
- Previous experience as a Parts Advisor, Parts Assistant or in a similar automotive parts role.
- Experience using Kerridge/CDK Drive, Keyloop or similar dealer management systems.
- Strong knowledge of motor vehicle parts and accessories.
- Experience using manufacturer electronic parts catalogues (EPCs).
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
- Good IT and administrative abilities.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced dealership environment.
- Positive attitude and strong team ethic.
Desirable
- Experience within a franchised dealership environment.
- Full UK driving licence.

Pay: £27,000.00-£31,000.00 per hour
