Bekstone are a successful leading independent concrete products manufacturer based near Carterton, West Oxfordshire. With continuing growth and sales demand we are now expanding our team. We are currently recruiting for a permanent day shift Engineer.
Duties and Responsibilities include:
- Carry out planned preventative and reactive maintenance.
- Diagnose and repair mechanical faults on plant and machinery.
- Carry out routine inspections and servicing.
- Respond quickly to breakdowns and minimise production downtime.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance and repairs.
- Work safely and follow all company health and safety procedures.
- Assist with installation, modification and improvement of equipment.
- Work closely with production and other maintenance team members.
What you need ?
- A minimum of 2 years hands on mechanical Engineering experience.
- Positive attitude.
- Good communication skills
- Reliability
- Mechanical skills to include basic hydraulic work
- Any electrical experience would be a great advantage
- Any welding experience would also be an advantage

Basic hours are 7-5, 5 days a week with regular overtime available. Given the role some flexibility will be required.
