Responsibilities
- Prepare and cook a variety of dishes with precision, creativity, and consistency in accordance with menu specifications
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen, adhering to food safety and sanitation standards at all times
- Assist in meal preparation, including chopping, plating, and portioning ingredients efficiently
- Monitor inventory levels and communicate supply needs to ensure smooth kitchen operations
- Serve food promptly and professionally to guests or team members, ensuring presentation quality
- Follow all health regulations and safety procedures to prevent contamination or accidents in the kitchen
- Collaborate with team members to ensure timely service during busy daytime hours
- Work between sites upon request to suit the needs of the business
Skills
- Proven experience in food preparation, cooking, or culinary roles within a restaurant or food service environment
- Strong knowledge of food safety practices and sanitation standards
- Excellent skills in meal preparation, plating, and serving techniques
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen while maintaining attention to detail
- Good communication skills for effective teamwork and customer service
- Familiarity with kitchen equipment and tools used in professional cooking settings
- Prior restaurant experience is preferred but not required; enthusiasm for learning is essential
Pay: £13.00-£15.00 per hour
