At Optima Care, we support adults with severe and enduring mental health conditions, intellectual disabilities, and complex needs. We are looking for an experienced and dedicated Registered Manager to lead our Seahaven service in Deal, Kent.
About the role
As Registered Manager, you will be responsible for the overall management and leadership of our services, ensuring the people we support receive high-quality, person-centred care. You will lead and develop a dedicated team, maintain strong relationships with families and professionals, and ensure compliance with all regulatory standards.
Key responsibilities include:
- Leading, supporting, and developing a committed care team
- Ensuring the delivery of safe, effective, and compassionate support
- Promoting a positive culture focused on dignity, choice, and independence
- Managing regulatory compliance and meeting CQC requirements
- Supporting staff development, performance, and continuous improvement
- Building strong relationships with people we support, families, and external professionals
About you
You will be an experienced Registered Manager with a strong background in social care, ideally supporting individuals with complex needs, mental health conditions, and/or learning disabilities.
You will have:
- A recognised management qualification (such as Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management for Adult Care) or willingness to work towards it
- Experience managing a regulated care service
- Strong leadership and communication skills
- A passion for delivering high-quality, person-centred care
- A good understanding of CQC regulations and safeguarding responsibilities
