About the Role:
We’re looking for a committed and emotionally intelligent Support Worker to join our semi-independent homes for young people aged 16+.
This isn’t just a shift-based job, it’s a meaningful career empowering young people to build independence, resilience, and life skills as they transition into adulthood.

What You’ll Be Doing:
- Supporting young people (16+) in semi-independent living to develop life skills and confidence
- Acting as a positive role model, someone who listens, challenges, and encourages
- Supporting with behaviour management and emotional regulation
- Writing clear daily logs, handovers, and progress reports
- Liaising with social workers, families, and professionals to ensure consistent support
- Planning and participating in activities, outings, and key work sessions
- Promoting safety, respect, and inclusion at all times
What We’re Looking For:
- Experience supporting young people in care, education, or youth work settings
- Strong communication, empathy, and professionalism
- Resilience and emotional maturity - able to stay calm under pressure
- Organised and confident with written documentation
- A genuine commitment to helping young people achieve their goals
Shift Pattern:
This role involves a mix of day shifts, evening shifts, and sleep-ins on a rota basis.
Applicants must be flexible and able to work across weekdays and weekends. Consistency is vital for the young people we support.
If you have set days or times you can’t work, this role may not be suitable.

We currently have homes in Ilford and Rainham

- We are not offering bank (ad-hoc) positions for this role.
- Sponsorship is not available at this time. Applicants must already have the right to work in the UK.
- You may be required to work at any of our sites in Ilford or Rainham
