In this role, you will be the first point of contact for our customers, providing exceptional service and ensuring a welcoming atmosphere. Your responsibilities will include assisting with food preparation, managing customer orders, and maintaining high standards of food safety. Duties
- Greet and welcome guests with a friendly and professional attitude.
- Take customer orders accurately and efficiently, ensuring all requests are met.
- Assist in food preparation as needed, adhering to food safety guidelines.
- Make barista coffees.
- Manage the dining area by keeping it clean and organised throughout service - clear tables.
- Upsell menu items to enhance the customer experience and increase sales.
- Handle cash transactions and perform basic maths for order processing.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of food and beverages.
- Provide assistance to guests as required, addressing any queries or concerns promptly.
Requirements
- Previous experience in a hospitality or restaurant environment is essential, including barista trained.
- Strong time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently.
- Basic culinary knowledge and understanding of food safety practices are advantageous.
- Excellent communication skills with a focus on customer service.
- Ability to work well under pressure in a busy setting.
- A positive attitude and willingness to help both customers and team members alike.
- MUST be able to drive and have own transport.
