Citrus Lime
Citrus-Lime is a fast-growing SaaS business providing Cloud POS—an end-to-end retail
system specifically designed for independent retailers in the Cycle, Equestrian, and
Outdoor sectors. Our platform integrates EPOS, Stock Control, Ecommerce, Supplier
Data, Payments, Reporting, and more, helping retailers streamline operations, improve
customer experiences, and grow sustainably.
We are profitable and financially strong, processing over £750 million in customer
revenues annually. Since launching in 2018, we’ve transformed independent Cycle
retail in the UK and are now expanding rapidly into Outdoor and Equestrian sectors. Our
next phase of growth is international, focusing on the USA, Canada, and Australia.
Our mission is to double our turnover in the next five years, with a strong emphasis on
international expansion. As we scale, strong financial control, performance reporting,
and commercial insight are critical to supporting our sustainable growth.
About the Role
You’ll be at the heart of delivering exceptional client work across organic search, from technical SEO through to on-page and off-page strategy. This is a role where your strategic thinking directly impacts client success. You’ll build strong relationships by understanding each client’s unique needs, working hard to retain them, and creating data-driven strategies that deliver real, measurable results.
Every day, you’ll carry out keyword research, on-page optimisation, and technical SEO audits, managing site health, crawlability, and indexation across a varied client portfolio. You’ll develop content strategies, work with local SEO, and use tools such as Google Search Console, SEMrush and Bright Local to track rankings, identify opportunities, and diagnose issues. You’ll lead keyword and content strategies aligned to key client priorities, and dive into performance data, turning it into clear insights and recommendations that keep clients ahead of the curve.
You’ll manage client expectations and KPIs with a commercial mindset, ensuring every recommendation drives value and supports retention. You’ll also collaborate with the wider business, working with platform and development colleagues to resolve technical issues and improve site performance, and lending your SEO expertise to client success and sales teams to help them identify the best fit solutions for retailers.
You’ll stay up to date with algorithm updates, industry trends, and best practice in SEO along the way. While the role focuses primarily on client delivery, you’ll occasionally support onboarding activities, ensuring new clients get off to a strong start.
