Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Full Time Cook to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will be passionate about food preparation and possess a strong background in cooking within a professional kitchen environment. This role involves preparing a variety of meals, ensuring food safety standards are met, and delivering high-quality dishes to our customers. The successful applicant will contribute to creating a welcoming and efficient kitchen atmosphere, supporting the overall dining experience.
Baking is essential to this job role.
The job will entail 2-3 weekdays, every other weekend.
This will chnage for holiday, sick cover and events.
Duties
- Prepare and cook a diverse range of meals according to specified recipes and standards
- Ensure all food is prepared in accordance with food safety and hygiene regulations
- Assist in menu planning and ingredient selection to optimise quality and efficiency
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen area, including washing dishes, utensils, and equipment
- Monitor stock levels and assist with inventory management
- Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure timely service during busy periods
- Adhere to health and safety guidelines at all times, including proper handling of food and equipment
- Serve meals to customers when required, providing excellent customer service
Pay: £15.00-£16.50 per hour
