We are seeking a skilled Self Employed Painter/Decorator to undertake painting and decorating projects on a freelance basis. Responsibilities
- Prepare surfaces by cleaning, sanding, and priming to ensure optimal paint adhesion
- Apply paints, varnishes, wallpapers, and other decorative finishes with precision and attention to detail
- Use a variety of tools and equipment safely and effectively, including brushes, rollers, spray guns, and scaffolding
- Communicate clearly with clients to understand their requirements and provide advice on colour schemes and finishes
- Manage your own schedule to meet project deadlines and coordinate with clients or project managers as needed
- Maintain a clean work environment by organising tools and disposing of waste responsibly
- Ensure all work complies with health and safety regulations at all times
Experience
- Proven experience in construction painting or decorating, with a portfolio of completed projects preferred
- Driving licence is desirable to facilitate transportation between sites
- Fluency in English is essential for effective communication with clients and suppliers
- Strong communication skills to discuss project details, provide updates, and address client queries effectively
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while maintaining high standards of quality
- Knowledge of health and safety procedures relevant to painting and decorating work

Pay: £120.00-£140.00 per day
