Mechanical & Electrical Maintenance Fitter – MOD Projects

Join our multi-disciplinary Maintenance Team based full-time on site in Swindon, Wiltshire, supporting current and future UK Ministry of Defence (MOD) projects. - Competitive salary of £35,000 to £40,000 per annum (£673 to £769 per week based on 52 weeks)

Your Responsibilities:
- Provide mechanical and electrical technical support including maintenance and fault diagnosis on pumps, compressors, generators and hydraulic systems
- Read and interpret electrical wiring diagrams and schematics to troubleshoot faults
- Perform inspections and produce detailed reports on equipment condition
- Supervise junior technicians and coordinate equipment/system interfaces
- Understand chemical handling and water treatment processes where applicable
- Travel within the UK and occasionally overseas as required
Ideal Candidate Will Have:
- NVQ Level 3, City & Guilds Level 3, or equivalent in Mechanical, Electrical or Multi-Skilled Engineering
- Strong experience with mechanical and electrical maintenance in an engineering environment
- Valid UK driving licence and willingness to travel
- Ability to obtain and maintain UK Security Clearance
