Nexus Recruitment have a rare and exciting opportunity for a Block Property Manager to join a small managing agent on a boutique portfolio. My client is a small but successful firm who have grown their business significantly as of late through word of mouth and reputation. The portfolio my client looks after covers some of the most prestigious postcodes within London and you will receive regular 1-2-1 training from one of the Directors.
Core duties:
Management of a portfolio, circa 5 blocks of 200 units
Regular site inspections
Set & manage service charge budgets as well as year-end accounts
Where required, carry out Section20 major works from start to finish
Oversee contractors, ensuring they have the correct permits for work
Ensuring your portfolio is compliant with current leasehold legislation
Build a cohesive relationship with all key stakeholders
Manage your portfolio with a customer led approach
My client is very forward-thinking in their approach and understand that the position requires a level of flexibility, so there are no set days in terms of home working, but the team typically work to 3-4 days in the office, 1-2 from home. In addition, there are a number of other perks, such as private healthcare, that the company will offer. Whilst they are looking for someone with relevant block management experience, they are open to speaking with Assistant Block Managers who are ready to step up and start taking on their own portfolio. TPI and other industry relevant qualifications will be sponsored from day one too.

TPI, desired but not essential
2+years private leasehold experience
Self-sufficient and resolution focused
