Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Team Member to join our gym team. The ideal candidate will play a vital role in supporting our operations and ensuring a positive experience for our members. This position is perfect for individuals with a passion for the gym and chatting to people, as well a quick learning skills to use systems for till, admin and general daily tasks to keep the gym running smoothly is key. The team greet all members coming and going so ability to be personable but also confidence to uphold our gym rules is a must. Options available if you are level 3 qualified in PT for part hours, part rent.
Duties
- Assist in the daily operations of the gym, ensuring that all activities run smoothly.
- Assist members with purchases, their membership.
- Provide support for members during training sessions.
- Maintain a safe and organised environment for all participants.
- Communicate with other team members to ensure information is passed over that will impact their shift
- Time keeping, friendly and able to talk to members is also a must
Requirements
- A background in gym instructing is highly desirable but not mandatory.
- An interest in the gym is ideal even if a qualification hasn't been obtained.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to engage and motivate others.
- A proactive attitude with a willingness to learn and adapt.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment.
- Commitment to maintaining high standards of safety and organisation.
Pay: From £12.71 per hour
