Position: Deputy Manager - Development to Registered Manager

Salary: £18.00 - £21.00 per hour, plus £60 per sleep-in
Harmonia House is excited to welcome a dedicated and experienced Deputy Manager to our new therapeutic SEMH (Social, Emotional, and Mental Health) provision in Edgware. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who is passionate about making a difference and committed to progressing to the Registered Manager role within a year.
About the Role:
As a Deputy Manager, you will assist the Registered Manager in overseeing the daily operations of the residential home, ensuring that we meet the highest standards of care and compliance with regulatory requirements. Your leadership will be crucial in fostering a nurturing environment that supports children who have experienced Adverse Childhood Experiences (ACEs).
Key Responsibilities:
- Operational Management: Oversee daily operations in the absence of the Registered Manager, ensuring a safe and supportive environment for our young people.
- Quality Assurance: Implement and maintain quality systems that reflect best practices in care.
- Team Leadership: Support and supervise staff, promoting effective communication and collaboration.
- Therapeutic Care: Provide direct support to children, addressing their emotional and developmental needs.
- Professional Development: Contribute to training initiatives that enhance team skills and align with care objectives.
