We are looking for an experienced, creative, hands-on head chef to lead our kitchen team at The Mill House, Birtley. This role offers an exciting opportunity to oversee all aspects of kitchen operations, ensuring high standards of food quality and customer satisfaction.
The Head Chef will play a key role in growing the business with menu ideas that evolve with the seasons and ensuring every dish reflects our commitment to great food done properly.
Experience & Skills required:
-Leading day to day kitchen operations, from prep to service
-Upholding a positive work environment that promotes teamwork, professionalism and continuous improvement
-High level of hygiene (certificates an added bonus)
-Working well within a team, own initiative and under pressure
-Managing kitchen budgets, GP targets and food cost control
