Senior Supervisor / Trainee Assistant Manager – Scran Kitchen & Bar (Eastgate, Inverness)

The Role
This is a hands-on leadership role with real responsibility and development built in. You will:
- Take full ownership of shifts, including open and close
- Support the day-to-day running of the business alongside senior management
- Lead and motivate the team during high-volume service
- Take responsibility for key management tasks including:
- Stock ordering and delivery control
- Wet stock management and line checks
- Staff training, onboarding, and standards
- Daily reporting and operational checks
- Assist with rota management, payroll awareness, and cost control
- Play an active role in maintaining and improving service standards and efficiency
What We’re Looking For
- Strong experience as a Supervisor or current Assistant Manager/Manager
- Confidence in running busy, high-pressure shifts independently
- Solid understanding of stock control, ordering, and daily operations
- Strong barista or bar background (cocktails advantageous)
- Natural leadership — able to drive standards and hold a team accountable
- Commercial awareness and interest in how a business performs
- Ambition to progress, learn, and take on more responsibility
Hours & Availability
- Minimum 30 hours per week up to 40+, happy to work the number of hours to suit the right candidate
- Flexibility required
- Weekend availability essential
