We are currently recruiting for a female Support worker to join our team of Personal Assistants supporting one of our clients in the Chorley area. The role will be varied, but you will be supporting our client to lead an individual and independent lifestyle in their own home and the community.
You will provide support with everyday tasks such as Cleaning, Laundry, and food preparation and supporting her to go out for various activities and for emotional support and companionship.
Our client has many interests, but particularly enjoys visiting garden centers, shops and cafes. A car driver is preferred but not essential.
Hours: This will be a casual role - Working between Monday and Friday (hours between 10am-4pm), plus cover for annual leave and sickness hours.

All training is provided and will consist of e-learning courses, face-to-face sessions, practical training. The training is bespoke to the client and fully comprehensive for meeting their needs. We also provide refresher training on a regular basis, to keep your knowledge and skills current.
Who we are looking for:
You must be self motivated, well organised, reliable and an excellent team player. As well as being a naturally caring and compassionate person, we’re seeking Care / Support workers with:
- Experience of providing companionship and supporting clients in the community
- Ability to support with domestic duties and food preparation.
- Ability to create a rapport and provide companionship for the individual.
- The ability to record clear and accurate notes
- A background in care would be advantageous.
You should also have:
- Excellent communication skills (verbal and written)
- Flexibility to cover annual leave and sickness
This role is subject to an enhanced DBS check. You must also have eligibility to work in the UK. We are unable to offer sponsorship.
