Receptionist / Front of House Coordinator

We are seeking a professional, organised and personable Receptionist / Front of House Coordinator to join our team at a busy multi-use cemetery and crematorium facility.
This is an important customer-facing role, acting as the first point of contact for visitors attending the cemetery, crematorium, burial grounds and dedicated Muslim burial area. The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring visitors are welcomed respectfully and guided appropriately during what is often a sensitive and emotional time.
Key Responsibilities
- Managing the main reception area and welcoming visitors.
- Directing vehicles and visitors entering the site.
- Assisting with the smooth flow of traffic around the grounds.
- Providing information to members of the public regarding services and facilities.
- Liaising with office staff, cemetery teams, crematorium staff and management.
- Arranging introductions and appointments with relevant team members when requested.
- Answering telephone and email enquiries.
- Maintaining a professional, calm and respectful environment at all times.
- Carrying out general administrative and reception duties.
The Ideal Candidate
- Friendly, approachable and professional in manner.
- Confident dealing with members of the public.
- Able to communicate clearly and effectively.
- Comfortable working outdoors when required to assist with visitor and traffic management.
- Organised and capable of managing multiple tasks.
- Reliable, punctual and able to work independently.
- Previous reception, customer service, security, concierge, facilities or front-of-house experience would be advantageous.
