We are looking for a reliable and professional owner-driver to take over an established delivery route in Paignton, specifically TQ4 5, TQ4 6 and TQ4 7 postcodes.
This is an excellent opportunity for a self-employed multi-drop delivery driver who already owns a suitable delivery van (Long to Extra Long Wheel Base) and is looking for a consistent route with regular work.
The route is already secured and managed by our company. The successful driver will be responsible for completing deliveries and managing their own vehicle-related expenses.
Requirements
- Own a suitable delivery van (Mercedes Sprinter, Citroen Relay size etc. Anything smaller will not be considered)
- Full UK driving licence.
- Appropriate vehicle insurance for courier/delivery work.
- Reliable, punctual, and professional attitude.
- Ability to work as part of a team in and around Torquay
- Monday to Friday constant work, rota system for Saturday work (1 in every 4 approx.)
- Previous courier or multi-drop experience preferred
Financial Arrangement
- Driver is self-employed.
- Driver is responsible for their vehicle costs and expenses (fuel, insurance, maintenance etc).
- Driver retains the route earnings after payment of an agreed daily route fee to the route owner.
