Duties
- Prepare and cook a variety of menu items with precision and creativity, ensuring consistency and quality in every dish
- Follow established recipes, portion controls, and presentation standards to deliver exceptional meals
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, adhering strictly to food safety and sanitation regulations
- Assist in meal planning and ingredient preparation to optimize efficiency during busy service times
- Monitor inventory levels, report shortages, and help with stock rotation to minimize waste
- Serve dishes promptly and professionally, providing excellent customer service when interacting with guests
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth kitchen operations and timely delivery of orders
Requirements
- Proven experience in food preparation and cooking within a restaurant, Cafe or similar setting
- Strong knowledge of food safety practices and sanitation standards
- Demonstrated ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to work flexible hours including weekends, and holidays as needed
- Good communication skills and a team-oriented attitude
- Prior experience with meal preparation, serving, or kitchen operations is highly desirable
