Job Summary
PART TIME MUST BE AVAILABLE 9-6:30pm everyday.
We are seeking a friendly and energetic Soft Play Assistant to join our vibrant team. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring a safe, enjoyable, and engaging environment for children and their families. Duties
- Supervise children in the soft play area, ensuring their safety at all times
- Assist guests with entry, exit, and general enquiries, delivering outstanding guest services
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the soft play zone, including sanitising equipment regularly
- Monitor play equipment for any hazards or maintenance needs and report issues promptly
- Manage guest flow during busy periods, ensuring a smooth and welcoming environment
- Support management with organising birthday parties or special events within the play area
- Uphold health and safety regulations in accordance with company policies
Requirements
- Previous experience in hospitality, or guest services is advantageous but not essential; a positive attitude and willingness to learn are essential
- Strong communication skills with the ability to interact effectively with children and adults alike
- Organised, proactive, and able to work independently as well as part of a team
- Enthusiastic about creating a fun, safe environment for children of all ages
- Ability to remain calm under pressure during busy periods
- Flexibility to work weekends or peak times if required 9-6:30 is a MUST.
- Basic understanding of health and safety standards relevant to childcare environments
