About the role:
We're looking for teachers who are confident teaching a fun, practical, cross-curricular and project based curriculum to international students age11-17. Lesson planning is provided (although you're welcome to bring your own flair to your teaching!), no homework, exams or grades- enjoy teaching as it should be! We're looking for a teacher who is available mornings and afternoons for the full duration of the course (you will typically teach a morning and an afternoon block- a block is 3 hours a day, Monday - Friday, with one class, giving you 15 hours of learning per week with each class).
About you:
- A teacher or tutor with recent classroom teaching experience; ideal for ECT’s looking for a supportive environment or teachers leaving mainstream
- Passionate about learning and confident delivering engaging, focussed and practical lessons
- Available for the full duration of the course, both mornings and afternoons
- Confident teaching the range of subjects within each weekly theme (you will teach the complete weekly project including all subjects)
- Confident developing students’ English through learning your subject, in line with the Content and Language Integrated Learning (CLIL) philosophy
- You should hold a DBS on the Update Service (as there won't be time to obtain a new DBS check before the role starts)
- QTS desirable
