SALES ACCOUNT MANAGER

At Photofab we are looking for an ambitious and proactive Sales Account Manager to join our team. This role is ideal for someone who is commercially minded, enjoys speaking with customers, thrives on winning new business, and takes pride in delivering an outstanding customer experience.

The Role
You will be responsible for managing and developing existing customer accounts identifying and securing new business opportunities and acting as a trusted partner to our customers.
Collaborating closely with customers and internal departments you will understand customer requirements, provide commercially viable solutions, prepare quotations, and ensure projects are delivered successfully from enquiry through to completion.
The telephone remains one of our most valuable sales tools so you must be comfortable proactively engaging with customers, building relationships, following up opportunities and opening new conversations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Generate and secure new business opportunities!
- Develop and grow existing customer accounts!
- Build strong, lasting customer relationships based on trust and service excellence!
- Identify customer needs and provide tailored solutions!
- Prepare quotations and negotiate effectively whilst maintaining company profitability!
- Proactively follow up quotations and sales opportunities
- Maintain and develop a healthy pipeline!
- Use a variety of communication methods including telephone, email, Linkedin and face to face meetings!
- Meet and exceed agreed sales targets and KPI’s!
- Track and report sales activity, opportunities, and customer feedback!
- Work closely with operational teams to ensure customer expectations are met!
- Represent the business professionally at customer meetings!
What we are Looking For
Essential
- Previous experience within a consultative or solution-based sales environment
- A proven track record of building and developing customer relationships.
- A genuine desire to succeed and achieve ambitious targets.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Confidence in using the telephone as a primary sales and relationship-building tool.
- Strong IT skills including Microsoft Outlook and Excel
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and work independently
- A positive, proactive and resilient attitude
Desirable
- Experience within manufacturing, engineering or technical sales.
- Experience reading and interpreting technical drawings.
- Experience using CAD software.
- Knowledge of manufacturing processes and technical specifications

Technical Training
Whilst experience reading technical drawings would be advantageous it is not essential.
Full training will be provided. What is important is a genuine desire to learn, the aptitude to understand technical information, and the willingness to develop expertise in our processes and customer requirements.
Additional Information
This is an office based role, (with occasional travel to visit customers) hours of work Monday to Thursday 8am to 5pm, Friday 8am to 2pm 40 hours per week.
Annual leave of 20 days plus bank holidays (approx. 3 days holiday deducted for Christmas shut down) all employees are entitled to 5 days additional leave, plus the option to purchase additional leave.
Pay: £32,000.00-£36,000.00 per year
