Job Summary
We are seeking an energetic and detail-oriented Housekeeping Supervisor to lead our housekeeping team. In this vital role, you will oversee daily cleaning operations, ensure high standards of cleanliness and guest satisfaction, and coordinate with staff to maintain a welcoming environment. Your leadership will drive efficiency, uphold safety protocols, and foster a positive team atmosphere.
Responsibilities
- Supervise and coordinate the daily activities of housekeeping staff to ensure efficient operations
- Conduct regular inspections of guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house spaces to maintain cleanliness standards
- Train new team members on cleaning procedures, safety protocols, and customer service expectations
- Communicate effectively with team members to assign tasks and monitor performance
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations at all times
- Manage inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment, placing orders as needed
- Address guest requests or concerns promptly to enhance their experience
Requirements
- Proven experience in housekeeping management or supervision within the hospitality industry
- Strong communication skills in English for effective team leadership and guest interaction
- Excellent service skills with a positive attitude
- Ability to motivate and lead a diverse team in a fast-paced environment
- Good organizational skills with attention to detail
- Flexibility to work varied shifts including weekends or holidays as required
Pay: £13.15-£13.20 per hour
