Summary
As Office Administrator, you’ll be the backbone of our office operations -ensuring everything runs smoothly behind the scenes. You’ll support on finances, manage administrative processes, handle customer and supplier communication, and maintain essential records and systems.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage day-to-day administrative duties including filing, document management, post, and correspondence.
- Act as a point of contact for clients, suppliers, and visitors.
- Support the wider team with documentation, and communication.
- Maintain accurate records of purchase orders, delivery notes, and invoicing.
- Managing purchases of office supplies and support basic procurement for services, or products.
- Liaise with external accountants (e.g. invoice tracking, expenses, VAT).
- Assist with marketing and HR admin as required (e.g. onboarding documents, social media support).
- Maintain a tidy and well-organised office environment.
- Provide excellent phone etiquette when communicating with clients
- Support team members with clerical tasks to enhance productivity.
Requirements
Essential
- Proven experience in an administrative, financial or clerical role.
- Ability to work independently
- Strong organisational and time management skills, with attention to detail
- Proficiency in · Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to multitask and work independently in a dynamic environment
- Friendly, professional, and team-oriented attitude
Desirable
- Experience in construction, transport or engineering administration
As this role is full time on-site, we do offer flexibility of the 40 working hours per week between 6am - 6pm Monday to Friday.
The working location is not accessible via public transport therefore you must have your own transport
Salary - £26,000 - £30,000 dependent on experience
