Responsibilities
- Assist clients with daily activities such as personal hygiene, mobility, and meal preparation in accordance with care plans
- Support clients in maintaining their independence and well-being through personalized care routines
- Communicate effectively with clients, families, and team members to ensure high-quality care delivery
- Use IT systems to update care records, document observations, and follow prescribed care procedures
- Drive company vehicles safely to provide home care services where needed
- Follow health and safety guidelines diligently during all interactions and activities
- Contribute to creating a warm, respectful environment that promotes dignity and comfort for all clients
Requirements
- Valid student visa with the desire to switch to a care worker visa or similar legal eligibility for employment in the care sector
- Experience or willingness to work in a care home or providing home care services
- Strong communication skills in English, both verbal and written
- Ability to operate IT systems confidently for documentation and communication purposes
- Valid driving license with reliable access to a vehicle for home visits (preferred but not mandatory)
- Good understanding of care plans and ability to follow detailed instructions accurately
- Excellent interpersonal skills with a caring attitude towards clients of diverse backgrounds
