We are looking for a front of house team member with bar and food service experience available for 2 to 3 shifts a week.
Evening and weekend availability is essential especially Sunday.
The ideal candidate would be required to work approximately 10-16 hours per week.
We are a busy village pub just outside of Taunton, we are approximately a 10 minute drive from almost all parts of Taunton and a couple of minutes drive from the Racecourse.

We require someone who is available for Evenings and Weekends and specifically Sunday availability.
Duties:
- Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages to customers
- Take customer orders and provide recommendations on drink selections
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the bar area
- Ensure compliance with all food safety and alcohol service regulations
- Handle cash transactions and process payments accurately
- Engage with customers in a friendly and professional manner
- Monitor customer behaviour and ensure responsible alcohol service
- Restock bar supplies as needed
Requirements:
- Previous experience in bartending or a similar role preferred
- Knowledge of basic math for handling cash transactions
- Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently
- Strong customer service skills with a friendly and approachable demeanour
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Familiarity with hospitality and restaurant industry standards
- Understanding of food safety regulations and procedures
- Sunday availability essential
