Location: On-site
Full-time, permanent contract (37.5 hours per week, 08:00am - 17:00pm, Monday - Friday)
Salary: £8 per hour

The Role
As our new Accounts Apprentice, you will support our Accounts team to maintain accurate ledgers for our two businesses: Silver X and Bow Distribution and Warehousing, creating and posting customer invoices and supporting our credit control function.

Key Responsibilities:
-
Creation & posting of customer invoices, both manual & via our transport systems, using Sage 50
- Credit control activities
- Monitoring of the business mailboxes
- Dealing with customer and supplier queries
- Issue of customer statements & supplier remittances
- Creation of supplier Purchase Orders for business activities
Scanning and filling of business paperwork

About You - we're looking for someone who brings:

Accounts receivable processing experience (desirable)
- Accounts payable processing experience (desirable)
- Strong IT skills (essential)

Strong problem solving ability (essential)

Experience of using Sage 50 accounting software (desirable)

Prior experience in a similar role as an Accounts Administrator with accounts receivable and payable experience (desirable)
