NutraTea is a fast-growing challenger food and drink startup that focuses on functional herbal teas that have been formulated for specific health issues. We have established a strong existing ecommerce and offline presence as well as distributing to multiple export countries.
We are seeking an organised, meticulous individual that is ready to learn the ropes and be involved in all aspects of the business. The role will be fast-paced and will require the ability to prioritise tasks, whilst having the ability to manage staff members and assist them to achieve their work goals.
Reporting to the founders, this role will be responsible for the following:
- Support the day to day management of operations, ensuring workflows are followed and departmental requirements are met.
- Assist with team coordination, workload planning and general operational support to help ease pressure on senior management and directors.
- Manage stock levels, monitor inventory and help ensure sufficient product availability to avoid disruption to customers.
- Liaise with manufacturers, suppliers, warehouse teams and couriers to support supply chain, production timelines, stock movements and export orders.
- Manage wholesaler and business accounts, including invoices, payments, overdue balances and related customer communication.
- Assist with monthly VAT reporting by preparing and submitting relevant information to the VAT agent accurately and on time.
- Support the bookkeeper by obtaining customer invoices, ensuring supplier bills are uploaded and helping keep accounts records organised.
- Assist with ecommerce operations, including maintaining listings across different platforms, checking content standards and supporting new product uploads.
- Support new product development by coordinating with internal colleagues, freelancers and external partners, while carrying out careful checks on work produced.
- Research suppliers, quotations and service providers to help identify cost effective options for the business.
- Write, update and implement SOPs to ensure processes are documented and followed consistently.
- Provide cover for colleagues during annual leave or absence to help maintain continuity across the business.
- Support senior management with diary management, meetings, databases, administration and general business tasks.
- Handle customer correspondence, complaints and queries in a professional and timely manner.
- Maintain office systems, filing, supplies, equipment and general office organisation.
- Use office software, including email, spreadsheets and databases, to support efficient administration and reporting.
- Assist with any additional operational, administrative or business support tasks as required.

- Previous experience in a senior role, managing a team
- Possess outstanding communication skills, adept at building and nurturing strong relationships with diverse teams
- Display reliability and self-motivation, showcasing the ability to identify and resolve problems independently, without constant supervision
- Demonstrate excellent influence and negotiation skills, particularly in engaging with third parties and external organizations including suppliers.
- Exhibit exceptional judgment and prioritization abilities to efficiently manage competing resource demands
- Strong IT skills, particularly Excel, Outlook and Word
