Duties
- Prepare and cook breakfast items such as eggs, pancakes, breakfast meats, and other morning favorites with precision
- Follow standardized recipes and presentation guidelines to ensure consistency and quality in every dish
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, including proper storage of ingredients and utensils
- Ensure all food safety protocols are adhered to, including proper handling, storage, and sanitation procedures
- Assist in meal prep for upcoming shifts to streamline service during busy mornings
- Collaborate with team members to deliver excellent service and support a positive kitchen environment
- Monitor inventory levels of ingredients and notify management when supplies need replenishing
- Assisting our head chef during lunch shifts
Experience
- Previous kitchen experience or culinary training is highly preferred; experience working in a restaurant or food service setting is a plus
- Knowledge of food safety standards and proper sanitation practices
- Familiarity with meal preparation techniques specific to breakfast dishes
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining attention to detail
- Serving experience is beneficial for understanding guest expectations and delivering exceptional hospitality
