Position: Deputy Manager – reporting to the Nursery Manager
Hours: 40 hours per week
Salary: from £31,304 per annum
Opening Hours: 7.30am to 6.00pm

We are a family-run business with over 25 years of experience and eight beautiful nurseries across Buckinghamshire and West London. Our Acton Park setting is especially close to our hearts – a truly unique nursery nestled in the heart of the community and within a beautiful park. What we are looking for:
We’re seeking a special individual who along with a full and relevant Level 3+ Early Years qualification and previous leadership experience, can bring and share their fun, passion and confidence as an early years professional to assist in managing our vibrant nursery. As Deputy Manager, you will be working alongside the Nursery Manager to ensure a high standard of education and care across a busy 30 place nursery.
You will be responsible for assisting with:
- Induction, training and management of staff
- Planning and organisation
- Ensuring EYFS requirements are met
- Ensuring the nursery is compliant with policies, procedures and Ofsted Guidelines
- Ensuring a safe environment for children, staff and visitors
- Communicating with parents & carers
- Ensuring that children’s needs are being met
- Marketing the nursery to maintain enrolment levels
- Acting as liaison between staff and Nursery Manager

Applicants must be willing to undergo child protection screening, as all new staff will be subject to enhanced DBS clearance, identity checks, qualification checks and employment checks to include an exploration of any gaps within employment, two satisfactory references and registration with the Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS).
Pay: From £31,304.00 per year
Ability to commute/relocate:
- London W3 7LJ: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)
