Job Title: Fabrication Assistant / Agricultural Handyperson
Location: Uffculme and Sampford Peverell
Salary: starting rate of £13.45 per hour (dependent on experience)
Hours: Varied / Full-time equivalent - minimum 40 hours pw
We are seeking a practical, hands-on individual to support both our vehicle manufacturing workshop and our agricultural operations. This role is ideal if you enjoy physical work, being outdoors, and a varied daily routine over a static desk or factory job.
Key Responsibilities
- Fabrication & Production Support: Assist the manufacturing team with basic fabrication tasks, material handling, workshop support, and general warehouse or production duties for dropsied vehicle builds.
- Agricultural & Farm Assistance: Help out with practical day-to-day tasks around Venn Farm, including property maintenance, fencing, livestock support and seasonal estate upkeep.
- Vehicle Movement & Driving: Transport vehicles safely between sites, manage local collections or deliveries, and assist with transport logistics as required.
- General Maintenance: Undertake general site repairs, equipment upkeep, and grounds maintenance across company properties.
Candidate Requirements
- Practical & Versatile: A natural problem-solver with a "can-do" attitude who is comfortable turning their hand to mechanical, manual, and agricultural tasks.
- Flexible Mindset: Genuinely enjoys a mixed day where no two shifts look alike, balancing indoor workshop time with outdoor farm and driving duties.
- Licence & Reliability: A clean or near-clean driving licence is essential for vehicle movement duties.
- Self-Motivated: Able to work well independently as well as alongside busy production and rural teams.
