We are looking for a new Area Quality Manager to join our established team overseeing 5 children's nurseries.
Your role as the Area Quality Manager will be dedicated to maintaining and improving the quality of provision offered across the groups setting whilst ensuring compliance with Ofsted and EYFS statutory requirements.
You will ensure all appropriate links to the Early Years Foundation Stage are embedded both in practice and in delivery.
Working alongside the senior team, you will support, mentor and develop Practitioners and their practice.
Candidates should already have experience in line managing an early years team with duties to include:
- Assist and support the individual Nursery Managers and Deputy Manager who are responsible for the effective daily management of the nursery.
- Ensuring all company policies, procedures and Ofsted statutory requirements are maintained at all times. In the absence of a Manager you may be required to provide cover on an interim basis.
- Update and expand on Quality Compliance Audits and ensure standards are met, leading meetings and discussions at a local level with regards to quality and cascading information to the team.
- Implement regular reviews analysing children’s progress to ensure Practitioners are confidently tailoring learning experiences to meet the individual needs of the children in our care.
- Motivate the nursery teams to work together, spending time in rooms role modelling and inspiring Practitioners to deliver best practice.
- Contribute towards annual and interim professional development colleague reviews.
- Mentor employees, including new starters and Apprentices, offering guidance to support their development and encourage them to achieve their career aspirations and goals.
Candidates must have a minimum level 3 in childcare and previous line management/ supervisory experience in Childcare.
Any successful application will be subject to a minimum of 2 satisfactory reference and a current Enhanced Childcare DBS.
Salary: Up to £40,000.
