Document Controller
Hours: Monday to Friday, 08:30 -17:00
Location: Canary Wharf This role is based on site at Canary Wharf. Hybrid working is not available.
Salary Range: Up to £40,000 per annum (FTC, prorated based on contract length)
Contract type: Fixed term, September 2026 - February 2027.
Your next role
As a Document Controller, you'll play a key part in supporting a prestigious new London development. You'll be the go-to person for managing, maintaining, and distributing project documentation - ensuring everything is accurate, secure, and easy to access.

What you will be doing

Managing project documentation - controlling versions, ensuring accuracy, and maintaining accessibility.

Maintaining document standards - ensuring all documents meet site templates, formatting rules, and compliance requirements.

Coordinating approvals and submissions - supporting the flow of information across internal teams and external contractors.

Organising electronic filing systems - keeping project documentation structured and easy to navigate.

Supporting project teams - helping colleagues retrieve, manage, and issue documents efficiently.

Overseeing deliveries and orders - logging deliveries and ordering parts/equipment for the project.

Supporting commercial processes - assisting the Commercial Manager with monthly Applications.
A typical week might include: Reviewing and issuing updated drawings, coordinating submissions with contractors, checking formatting compliance, logging deliveries, updating registers, and supporting the wider project team with documentation queries.
Who we are looking for

Experienced Document Controller with proven background in a document control environment.

ASITE experience or similar data platform knowledge - essential.

Strong Microsoft Office skills and confidence working with digital filing systems.

Experience within the construction industry.

Highly organised, able to manage multiple tasks and priorities.

A collaborative team member who can also work independently when needed.
