We are a small but growing family business based in Marsh Barton, specialising in branded and personalised goods. We’re looking for a motivated Warehouse Picking Assistant to join our friendly team and support us through our busy Christmas season.
About the Role
You’ll be helping with:
- Picking and packing customer orders
- Preparing goods for dispatch
- General warehouse tasks to keep things running smoothly
- Supporting the wider warehouse team during our busiest periods
This is a temporary Christmas position, ideal for someone looking for seasonal work during our peak period.
There may also be opportunities for additional hours and late shifts during November and December, depending on workload.
What We’re Looking For
- A positive, can-do attitude – experience is a bonus, but not required as full training will be provided
- Reliability and good attention to detail
- Someone who works well as part of a small, supportive team
- A willingness to help during busy periods and take on additional hours where available
This role can work particularly well for people looking for flexible seasonal hours, including those balancing school runs, caring responsibilities, studies or other commitments.
Hours & Pay
- Part-time: approximately 10–15 hours per week
- Typical shift pattern may include:
- Monday: 08:00am – 1:00pm
- Thursday & Friday: 1:00pm – 5:30pm
- Saturday: 9:00am – 1:00pm (Saturdays are worked on a rota and you will not be required to work every Saturday)
- Additional hours may be available during November and December
- There may also be opportunities to work late shifts during the Christmas peak period
- Base pay: £13.25 per hour
- Late shifts attract an additional £2 per hour premium, giving a total rate of £15.25 per hour for eligible late-shift hours
- Typical Late shift pattern may include:
- Monday-Friday: 20:00pm – 2:00am
