Job Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and dedicated Part-Time HR Manager to join our team for 16 hours per week (2 days). This role offers an exciting opportunity to lead human resources initiatives, support employee engagement, and ensure compliance with HR policies in a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate will bring a proactive attitude, excellent communication skills, and a strong understanding of HR systems and data analysis. As a key member of our HR team, you will help foster a positive workplace culture while managing essential HR functions efficiently and effectively.
Responsibilities
- Oversee and manage core human resources functions, including onboarding, employee relations, and policy implementation.
- Utilise HRIS (Human Resources Information System) platform PeopleCloud to maintain accurate employee records and generate reports.
- Support recruitment efforts to streamline hiring processes and track candidate progress.
- Supervise HR activities related to compliance, benefits administration, and performance management.
- Conduct data analysis to identify trends in employee engagement, turnover, and other key HR metrics; present findings through clear reports and presentations.
- Collaborate with management to develop strategies for talent management, training programs, and workforce planning.
- Communicate effectively across all levels of the organization to promote HR initiatives and ensure understanding of policies.
Experience
- Proven management experience with a focus on supervising HR teams or projects.
- Strong background in human resources functions including recruitment, employee relations, and compliance.
- Hands-on experience with HRIS platforms such as Workday, Taleo, PeopleCloud or PeopleSoft; familiarity with ATS systems is highly desirable.
- Demonstrated ability to analyse data effectively and present insights clearly through reports or presentations.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage diverse audiences across the organisation.
- Prior experience in managing or supporting HR operations within complex organisational structures is preferred.
