Overview
We are seeking a friendly and professional Front of House team member to provide exceptional guest services in a dynamic hospitality environment. The successful candidate will be the first point of contact for visitors, ensuring a welcoming atmosphere and smooth operational flow. Multilingual or bilingual abilities are highly desirable to accommodate our diverse clientele. Duties
- Greet guests warmly upon arrival and assist with check-in procedures
- Manage reservations and walk-in enquiries efficiently and courteously
- Handle incoming phone calls with professional phone etiquette, directing queries appropriately
- Provide information about services, facilities, and local attractions to guests
- Maintain a tidy and organised reception area at all times
- Collaborate with team members to ensure seamless guest experiences
- Address guest concerns promptly and escalate issues when necessary
- Support other departments as required to ensure overall operational excellence
Requirements
- Previous experience in hospitality environments is preferred but not essential; training will be provided
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to engage confidently with diverse guests
- Knowledge of Japanese cuisine especially Japanese BBQ (YAKANIKU) is highly advantageous
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to remain calm and professional under pressure
Pay: £12.71 per hour
