Key responsibilities:

Prepare sushi,sashimi,maki rolls,and other Japanese dishes to company standards.

Ensure ingredients are prepared,portioned,and presented with consistency and quality.

Maintain freshness and quality of fish,seafood,rice,and other ingredients.

Follow recipes,portion control,and food safety procedures at all times.

Keep sushi station clean,organised,and fully stocked during service.

Support kitchen operations during busy periods and assist with stock management.
Skills & Qualifications:

Previous sushi chef or Japanese kitchen experience preferred.

Strong knife skills and knowledge of sushi preparation techniques.

Good understanding of food hygiene and safe handling of raw fish.

Attention to detail and commitment to presentation and quality.

Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
