Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and organised Bookkeeper/Administrator/Payroll professional to join our team. This role involves managing financial records, processing payroll, and providing administrative support to ensure smooth business operations. The ideal candidate will have experience with various accounting software programmes and possess strong organisational skills to handle multiple responsibilities efficiently. Responsibilities
- Maintain accurate financial records using accounting software such as QuickBooks, Sage, or Xero
- Process accounts payable and receivable transactions in a timely manner
- Manage payroll administration, ensuring employees are paid accurately and on schedule
- Reconcile bank statements and prepare financial reports for management review
- Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning activities
- Support administrative functions including data entry, filing, and correspondence organisation
- Ensure compliance with relevant financial regulations and company policies
- Collaborate with external accountants or auditors during audits or financial reviews
- Maintain confidentiality of sensitive financial information at all times
Qualifications
- Proven experience in bookkeeping, payroll processing, and administration
- Proficiency in accounting software such as QuickBooks, Sage, or Xero is essential
- Strong understanding of accounts payable processes and financial reporting standards
- Excellent organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively
- Attention to detail and high level of accuracy in data entry and record keeping
- Good communication skills, both written and verbal
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
- Relevant qualifications in accounting or finance are desirable but not mandatory

Pay: £320.00-£400.00 per week
