We are looking to recruit a Housekeeping Supervisor to work in our Spa and Leisure facilities. The ideal candidate will be someone who can ensure our high standards of cleanliness and attention to detail are instilled and maintained throughout the site which includes Crow Wood Leisure , Bertrams Restaurant , The Lounge , Soccer Burnley and our award winning Woodland Spa.
Due to our changing facilities we are looking for a male candidate as the need to enter the male changing room during opening hours is part of this role.
Responsible to:
Housekeeping Manager – Spa and Leisure
Main duties, including the following but not limited to:
Liaise with the Housekeeping manager and other Heads of department regarding their requirements for cleaning, and performance levels.
To cover shifts on a rota basis to include 6am - 2pm and 2pm- 10pm with weekend availability.
Monitor and supervise cleaning carried out in all areas of the site to include, spa and leisure club and all public areas including Bertram's and The Lounge.
To be fully aware of laundry practices & procedures
To deliver training to all new and existing staff.
To check on a daily basis in the absence of the Housekeeping Manager or Senior Supervisor staff requirements for the upcoming days in covering sickness and absenteeism and to try and cover all shifts in all areas.
To liaise with the night supervisor to ensure all tasks are completed during the night.
To deal with any staffing issues or sickness whilst on shift.
To record and report all faults and damage arising.
To maintain stock levels of equipment, consumables and chemicals
To ensure all housekeeping equipment is used safely and effectively.
To ensure on all occasions you observe safe and hygienic working practices in order to satisfy Health and Safety at Work and other statutory legislation.
To assist with the housekeeping operation as necessary, i.e. servicing of any areas where necessary.
To record, report and process lost property according to procedures.
To consistently deliver superior customer service
To attend training when required
To maintain health & safety in line with company policy and report any potential issues
All other duties as and when required.
