Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Practice Manager to oversee the daily operations of our medical practice. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills and a proven ability to manage a diverse team. This role is crucial in ensuring that our practice runs smoothly, providing high-quality care to our patients while maintaining an efficient and productive work environment.
Duties
- Supervise and lead the administrative staff, ensuring effective communication and collaboration within the team.
- Manage the scheduling of appointments, ensuring optimal patient flow and minimal wait times.
- Oversee financial operations, including budgeting, billing, and invoicing processes.
- Implement and maintain policies and procedures that enhance operational efficiency.
- Coordinate with healthcare providers to ensure alignment on patient care standards and practices.
- Monitor compliance with health regulations and standards, ensuring that the practice adheres to all legal requirements.
- Handle patient inquiries and complaints professionally, striving for high levels of patient satisfaction.
- Facilitate staff training and development initiatives to enhance team performance and service delivery.
Requirements
- Proven experience in a managerial role within a healthcare setting is preferred.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and guide a team effectively.
- Excellent organisational skills with attention to detail.
- Proficient in managing multiple tasks simultaneously while maintaining high standards of quality.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively with patients, staff, and external stakeholders.
- Familiarity with healthcare regulations and compliance requirements is advantageous.
- A proactive approach to problem-solving with the ability to adapt to changing circumstances.
