Job Responsibilities/Key accountabilities:

Support the delivery of >99% on time deliveries and ensure warehouse errors do not exceed 0.10%

Be reliable and able to work on own initiative

Able to work and dislocate to other depots

Ensuring goods are safely secured

Keeping your vehicle in good condition

Loading and unloading the vehicle

Taking the quickest route to your destination (map reading always an advantage)

Be able to handle instructions well
Knowledge, Skills, Experience
Essential
-
Previous experience of lorry driving (one year)

UK Driving licence (full, clean)

LGV license in categories C+E (larger, articulated vehicles)

You'll also need to hold a Certificate of Professional Competence – a practical and theory test taken every five years to prove a driver’s suitability.

Methodical with the ability to prioritise workload
