We are a dynamic and forward thinking Practice operating across 2 sites. We have a vacancy for a Receptionist/Administrator to support our existing staff.
This is a busy role, duties include front of house, receptionist, administrative and telephony duties.
The role includes communicating face to face, over the phone, by email and text messages. It also includes several administration duties such as scanning and attaching patient documents to clinical records, meeting QOF targets and dealing with any third party queries.
The position will require someone that can work well under pressure, multi-task & have good computer knowledge. Receptionists are the first port of call for patients and our reception does get very busy at times.
It is desirable that the candidate has previous experience in a primary care environment.
The candidate will possess excellent communication skills, both verbally and written.
A full working knowledge of Emis Web and Docman 10 is desirable, however training can be provided.
The post is for 25-30 hours over 5 days/week and flexibility is essential as you would be required to cover colleague’s annual leave and sickness to ensure the smooth running of the GP reception area.
You will need to deal with people at all levels in a calm and courteous manner, even when under pressure, be computer literate and ideally have experience of GP computer systems.
You need to be able to deliver quality administrative services in an organised and professional manner.

Pay: £13.00-£14.50 per hour
