Duties
- Prepare and cook authentic Middle Eastern dishes with precision and creativity, ensuring high-quality standards are consistently met
- Supervise kitchen staff, providing guidance on food preparation, presentation, and safety protocols
- Manage food production processes from ingredient sourcing to final plating, maintaining efficiency and cleanliness in the kitchen
- Oversee food safety compliance by adhering to health regulations and maintaining proper storage practices
- Lead team management efforts by training new staff, delegating tasks, and fostering a collaborative work environment
- Assist in menu development by suggesting innovative recipes that highlight traditional flavors while catering to customer preferences
- Ensure timely service by coordinating with serving staff and maintaining smooth kitchen operations during busy hours
Qualifications
- Proven culinary experience with a focus on Middle Eastern cuisine, including knowledge of traditional ingredients and cooking techniques
- Supervising experience in a restaurant or hospitality setting, demonstrating leadership capabilities
- Strong background in food preparation, food safety standards, and kitchen management
- Excellent team management skills with the ability to motivate and develop staff members
- Experience in food production, cooking, and serving within fast-paced restaurant environments
- Knowledge of hospitality industry practices, including customer service and quality assurance
