Abingdon & Witney College is seeking an enthusiastic Project Management Officer to support the delivery of an exciting estates and facilities projects across our campuses. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone looking to build a career in project management, or for an experienced administrator, coordinator or business support professional who is ready to develop their skills in a project-focused environment.
You'll play a key role in helping projects run smoothly from planning through to delivery, ensuring activities are well organised, stakeholders are informed, and project information is accurate and up to date.
What You'll Be Doing
You'll be at the heart of our project delivery team, providing essential support across a variety of estates projects.

Coordinating meetings, preparing agendas, taking minutes and tracking actions.
- Maintaining project plans, risk logs, action trackers and key documentation.
- Supporting project reporting, updates and stakeholder communications.
- Monitoring project progress and highlighting risks or delays.
- Assisting with project finances, budget trackers and procurement administration.
- Liaising with colleagues, contractors, consultants and external partners.
- Helping improve project processes and ways of working across the College.
What We're Looking For
We're looking for an organised and motivated individual who enjoys bringing structure, attention to detail and excellent customer service to everything they do.

Experience in administration, coordination, project support or a similar role
- Outstanding organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities
- Strong communication skills and confidence working with a range of stakeholders
- Good Microsoft Office skills, including Word, Excel, Outlook and Teams
- The ability to maintain accurate records and follow processes effectively
- A proactive, professional and solution-focused approach.
Experience within estates, facilities, construction, education or public sector environments would be advantageous, but is not essential. Likewise, any project management qualification or exposure to project management methodologies would be welcomed.
