Duties
- Deliver compassionate, child-centered support that promotes emotional, social, and developmental growth
- Develop, implement, and regularly review personalized care plans tailored to each child's needs and circumstances
- Foster a safe, engaging environment where children feel valued, respected, and empowered
- Work closely with families, social workers, educators, and healthcare professionals to coordinate support strategies
- Supervise daily activities, ensuring they align with individual care plans and promote positive behavior
- Maintain accurate records of children's progress, incidents, and relevant observations using IT systems
- Support children with their daily routines including meal times, educational activities, outings, and personal care when needed
Qualifications
- Proven experience working with children in a childcare or support setting
- Strong communication skills to effectively engage with children, families, and team members
- Ability to develop and follow detailed care plans while adapting to changing needs
- Valid driving license preferred for transportation duties or outings
- Knowledge of safeguarding policies and procedures to ensure children's safety at all times
- Competent in using IT systems for record keeping and reporting purposes
- Enthusiastic team player with a proactive approach to problem-solving and child welfare
