Keyholder, Retail Position
Permanent, Part-Time ( 10 hours) position available
Location: Bude, Cornwall
This is an exciting opportunity to join our retail department, engaging with new customers and existing fans of Tarquin's.
As part of a small, supportive team, you will play a key role in delivering exceptional customer experiences while contributing to the day-to-day operation of the store. The role also offers opportunities for professional development, growth, and training across the wider business.
Key Responsibilities
- Open and close the store in line with company procedures.
- Maintain high standards of store cleanliness, organisation, hygiene, and presentation.
- Provide cover for the Store Manager when required.
- Deliver exceptional customer service and create a welcoming experience for all visitors.
- Support inventory management, stock rotation, and stock control under the guidance of the Retail Manager.
- Work collaboratively with the team to achieve daily and weekly sales targets and KPIs.
- Receive and check deliveries, ensuring product quality and accuracy.
- Contribute to a safe, positive, and enjoyable environment for customers and colleagues.
- Promote and represent the Tarquin's brand with enthusiasm and professionalism.
Essential Requirements
- Previous retail experience.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong customer service focus.
- Reliable, organised, and able to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Flexible approach to working hours, including weekends and busy trading periods.
- Confidence in public speaking is an advantage.
Desirable Skills and Experience
- Personal Licence Holder.
- Previous hospitality experience.
- Experience working in a customer-facing environment.
