Overview
Scott Financial is a successful, growing firm of Financial Advisers based in Church Crookham, Hampshire. We are currently seeking an experienced, self-motivated Paraplanner to join our small, friendly team.
Supporting our Advisers, and working with a wide range of clients, the ideal candidate will be personable but professional, with excellent communication skills. With 3+ years experience in a similar paraplanning role, you will be organised and methodical with a keen eye for detail.
You will provide a vital role in supporting 4 Advisers by preparing suitability reports, conducting research and ensuring all advice is compliant.
Main Duties:
- Review policy information prepared by the administration team
- Analyse Fact finds and client notes
- Conduct research across planning areas including Pensions, Drawdowns, Investments, Bonds, VCTs & EISs and IHT planning
- Prepare suitability and cashflow reports for final sign off by the Adviser
- Check and submit new business cases
- Ensure all documentation adheres to compliance standards
- Liaise with Advisers, the administration team, providers, network and clients
- Maintain and update the back-office system
- Keep up to date with industry and legislation changes
- Assist with ad-hoc project work.
Strong IT skills and proficiency with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word and Excel) is essential. Experience of our back-office system, Intelliflo, as well as the 7IM, Aegon ARC, Nucleus and Parmenion platforms is desirable as well as the use of FE Analytics and CashCalc. Although not essential, any CII qualifications would be an advantage.
Working days / hours flexible, 25-35 hours per week total.
