About the Role
We are seeking an organised and technology-focused Software Support Administrator to assist customers and internal teams with software enquiries, user accounts, support requests, and system records.
You will record technical issues, provide guidance on common software functions, maintain accurate support documentation, and ensure requests are directed to the appropriate technical team.
This position is suitable for career starters and candidates with transferable experience in customer service, administration, information technology, retail, or digital services. Training on company software, support procedures, and internal systems will be provided.

Key Responsibilities
- Respond to software-support enquiries by email, telephone, and digital channels
- Record customer issues accurately in the support system
- Create, update, and maintain authorised user accounts
- Assist users with passwords, access requests, and basic system navigation
- Provide guidance on common software features and standard procedures
- Categorise support requests and assign them to the appropriate technical team
- Monitor open support tickets and follow up on outstanding actions
- Update customer, account, and software records
- Prepare clear notes describing reported technical issues
- Maintain user guides, frequently asked questions, and support documents
- Test basic software functions using approved procedures
- Notify users about planned maintenance and service updates
- Support software onboarding and account setup activities
- Prepare routine spreadsheets and support-performance reports
- Escalate security, access, or complex technical concerns appropriately
- Handle customer and system information confidentially
- Support general technology and office administration when required
What We Are Looking For
Experience
- Previous experience in customer service, administration, retail, digital services, or office support is helpful but not essential
- Applications from career starters and candidates changing industries are welcome
- Previous exposure to software, helpdesk, or technical-support environments is beneficial but not required
- Full training will be provided

Education
- GCSEs or equivalent qualifications are preferred

- Relevant practical, volunteer, or customer-service experience will be considered
Pay: £29,000.00-£34,000.00 per year
