About the Role
As a Quality Controller you would work as part of a friendly team to ensure all products meet the required quality specifications.
Key Responsibilities
- Using a tablet to record accurate information
- Working with Quality Control Instruments
- Checking label information is correct
- Communicating with relevant departments
- Collating and assessing audits
- Sampling and taste testing many varieties of fruit from around the globe
- Prioritising workload
- Using Manual Handling Equipment
- Ensuring food safety and legislation is complied with
- You will be given full and ongoing training and support
What We're Looking For
- Strong people management and communication skills
- Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced setting
- Good understanding of health & safety and quality standards
- Problem-solving mindset with attention to detail
- Confident using basic production systems and documentation
- Flexible approach to working late and night shift when needed
- Knowledge of HACCP, BRC, or similar food safety standards
- Desirable experience within food production or FMCG
Working Hours
This shift is 5 out of 7 days including weekend work fortnightly, working hours are 6am – 3pm, however flexibility is required to work late shift and nights due to business needs
